For Successful Masterminding – A Need It List Related To Your Objective

We’re talking about Mastermind Groups and how to make best use of them.  In my last post, I talked about having a clear objective, written and with a date attached, when you come to the meeting.  Your objective is what you want.

But what will you need to make it happen?  Ask yourself, “What do i need for my Objective to be met?”   The answer to this question becomes the foundation of your Need It List.   And that’s what I’m going to talk about in this brief post.

Developing A Need It List

If you’re boldly going where you have never gone before, and therefore don’t know what you need to get there, take a stab at it anyway.    What might you need?  Guess!

For example, if my desire is to grow the local aspect of my coaching business, then I might need some or all of the following:

1.  Clients

2.  Business License

3.  Business Plan

4.  Financing

5.  Partners and Suppliers

6.  Exposure

7.  Advertising

8.  Tax advise or a financial planner

As a participant in the Mastermind, I can put the need for a Need It List in front of my group and get their additions to it.  Or I can put my list in front of my group and ask for help with resources.  If someone in my group has had a positive experience with advertising, this can save me steps.  If someone in the group has financed a local business, they may know exactly who talk with, and who to warn me about.
