As I move forward with the tapes, it becomes easier to get into position and reach faster the relaxation and concentration levels needed to be focused on the exercises. The third session from the Discovery album I have just completed was not, in theory, going to teach me anynothing more that a new tool to incorporate to my kit, but, in the end, it gave me a nice surprise.

Because it’s important to have traditions, and I’ve been pretty loosey-goosey with them around here, we now have “Send A Friend” Sundays. It’s a time when I fill you in on the “bigger picture” like “peace happiness and love” or “peoplerelationship” stuff or “how to deal with difficult people” things. Sometimes there’s a message you might want to share with others you care about.

Recently…. I came across a serious junction of my life. Of my 28 years of life experience this has to be my toughest decision ever. Why? “manusia hanya mampu merancang. Tuhan yang menentukan” I totally agree with that statement. We only have the power to plan. In fact, we even have the power to execute. But as far the execution goes, whether it materializes or not is up to us, Allah or the devil. The word PLAN itself intrigues me. In a way my latest experience has shown that planning isn’t that difficult.

As is the case with all recessions or economic downturns, more and more people are turning to inventing.  This is not at all surprising, and is in fact exactly what you would expect.  When finances are difficult people look to themselves for assistance, and to figure out how they can make a better tomorrow without […] Related posts: Inventors Need to Have Inventions I am frequently asked the same or similar question with respect to patent applications by independen Starting the Patent Process on a Limited Budget QUESTION: I have a few ideas that I think could really be a success.

In my travels across North America speaking on motivation and human potential I hear the same question asked repeatedly, ” How can I become more assertive?” There is no doubt about it, there are people in our lives who are harmful to our health and we don’t like it one bit. I read recently that toxic people make up about ten percent of the population and cause over 50% of all relational damage. For our own well-being and the well-being of those we care about we must learn how to cope with these toxic people at home, at work and at play.

The Erosion of the Self and the Beginners Mind This blog begins with the theoretical and moves to the particular with an example of one person’s effort to understand options and alter her participation in a stuck marriage. Bowen family systems theory, a theory of human behavior, views the family as a reasonably knowable, somewhat predictable emotional unit. The family is an emotionally connected system that is not easily changeable.

Jump to CommentsOver the years I have been used to being invited to dinners and events because people know I will make conversation and am pretty effortless when it comes to small talk. This is why I am summoned once a cruise to eat at the captain’s table………which as I wrote in a blog last week I enjoy as much as I do having a bleeding hemorrhoid. Yet, there I was again last night …….at the captain’s table……..in my role as cruise jester. When the toilet explodes, you call a plumber.

Over the last weeks I’ve realized that I’ve been amazingly fortunate since starting my business. There have been so many people who have been mentors, advisors, or just “whisperers” giving me wonderful help and advice. So, it’s time to give back. I’ve decided that in the next 45 days, between now and October 1, I’m going to give a free, one-hour consultation session to 100 different people. That’s right. It’s gonna be super fun, crazy busy, and we’re gonna make things happen .
